Every session begins with listening — finding the sound, the feeling and the character of your music. Whether capturing an intimate vocal through the U67 or exploring an entirely new direction, the focus is always on the performance and the idea behind it.

Beyond the studio
Deep in the Balkans, close to the Greek border, 22GLORY offers more than a place to work on music. Bitola is surrounded by mountain landscapes, layered history and a culture in which music, food and hospitality are part of everyday life. It is a corner of the world worth discovering — whether you arrive with a project in mind or simply a little curiosity.
An evening might lead to a small restaurant, a table of local dishes and a čalgija ensemble bringing the room to life with melodies and effortless seven-eight rhythms. Away from the console, there is another kind of listening to be done — to unfamiliar sounds, new conversations and the rhythm of a place.
There is room for a little adventure, too. A longer break might take you to the shores of Lake Ohrid; a day off could become a trip across the Greek border and down to the sea. Or you might stay closer, explore Bitola, head towards Pelister or spend an unhurried afternoon over coffee.
That gentle sense of escape is part of the studio experience. Focused sessions can sit alongside good meals, fresh air and time to unwind. Sometimes a change of surroundings is exactly what an idea needs — and a recording trip becomes something you take home in more ways than one.

Behind 22GLORY
22GLORY was founded by Zoran “Zorro” Grujovski, a producer, composer, mixing engineer and musician with over 30 years of experience in music production, composition, recording, mixing and live performance. Over the years, he has worked with artists including Udo Lindenberg, Rosenstolz, Heinz Rudolf Kunze, Ben Zucker, Roger Whittaker, Nicole, Patricia Kaas, Elton John and many others.
Decades spent in studios have given him a practical understanding of the entire recording process — from capturing a performance and shaping its sound to guiding a session with care and confidence. His work as a mixing engineer also includes mixing records, bringing the individual elements together into a coherent musical whole.

Recently established in Bitola, North Macedonia, 22GLORY brings that experience into a new setting. The studio is at the beginning of its own story, with its facilities, collaborations and programme of productions continuing to develop — a foundation for new projects and lasting creative partnerships.
Interesting things happen in a production when musicians with different backgrounds, traditions and ways of working come together. At 22GLORY, international experience meets the talent and musical richness of North Macedonia and the wider Balkans — opening up new perspectives and possibilities for the music.

Im Studio
Jede Session beginnt mit Zuhören — auf der Suche nach dem Klang, dem Gefühl und dem Charakter deiner Musik. Ob wir eine intime Gesangsaufnahme mit dem U67 festhalten oder eine völlig neue Richtung erkunden: Im Mittelpunkt stehen immer die musikalische Interpretation und die Idee dahinter.
Ein Ort, um eine Interpretation einzufangen, einer Idee nachzugehen und einen Klang zu formen. Musikalisches Gespür und technisches Handwerk gehen dabei Hand in Hand — immer im Dienst der Künstler und ihrer Musik.
Jenseits des Studios
Mitten im Balkan, nahe der griechischen Grenze, bietet 22GLORY mehr als einen Ort, um an Musik zu arbeiten. Rund um Bitola treffen Berglandschaften, eine bewegte Geschichte und eine Kultur aufeinander, in der Musik, gutes Essen und Gastfreundschaft zum Alltag gehören. Ein Fleckchen Erde, das es zu entdecken lohnt — mit einem Projekt im Gepäck oder einfach mit ein wenig Neugier.
Ein Abend führt vielleicht in ein kleines Restaurant, an einen Tisch voller regionaler Gerichte und zu einem Čalgija-Ensemble, das den Raum mit Melodien und mühelosen Siebenachtel-Rhythmen zum Leben erweckt. Abseits des Mischpults gibt es noch eine andere Art des Zuhörens — auf neue Klänge, Gespräche und den Rhythmus eines Ortes.
Auch für ein kleines Abenteuer ist Platz. Eine längere Pause kann dich an die Ufer des Ohridsees führen, ein freier Tag über die griechische Grenze bis ans Meer. Oder du bleibst in der Nähe, erkundest Bitola, machst dich Richtung Pelister auf oder genießt einen entspannten Nachmittag bei einem Kaffee.
Dieses kleine Gefühl von Auszeit gehört zum Studioerlebnis. Konzentrierte Sessions verbinden sich mit gutem Essen, frischer Luft und Zeit zum Durchatmen. Manchmal braucht eine Idee genau diesen Wechsel der Umgebung — und von einer Reise zum Aufnehmen nimmt man am Ende mehr mit nach Hause als nur Musik.

Hinter 22GLORY
22GLORY wurde von Zoran „Zorro“ Grujovski gegründet — Produzent, Komponist, Mixing Engineer und Musiker mit über 30 Jahren Erfahrung in Musikproduktion, Komposition, Recording, Mixing und auf der Bühne. Im Laufe der Jahre arbeitete er mit Künstlern wie Udo Lindenberg, Rosenstolz, Heinz Rudolf Kunze, Ben Zucker, Roger Whittaker, Nicole, Patricia Kaas, Elton John und vielen anderen zusammen.
Jahrzehnte im Studio haben ihm ein praktisches Verständnis des gesamten Aufnahmeprozesses vermittelt — vom Einfangen einer Interpretation und der Gestaltung ihres Klangs bis zum aufmerksamen und sicheren Begleiten einer Session. Als Mixing Engineer mischt er auch Alben und verbindet die einzelnen Elemente zu einem stimmigen musikalischen Ganzen.

Надвор од студиото
Во срцето на Балканот, близу до грчката граница, 22GLORY нуди повеќе од простор за работа на музика. Битола е опкружена со планински предели, богата историја и култура во која музиката, храната и гостопримството се дел од секојдневието. Ова е катче од светот што вреди да се открие — без разлика дали доаѓате со проект или едноставно со малку љубопитност.
Една вечер може да ве одведе во мал ресторан, на трпеза со локални јадења и со чалгиски состав што го оживува просторот со мелодии и природни ритми во седум осмини. Подалеку од миксетата, постои и поинакво слушање — на нови звуци, разговори и ритамот на едно место.
Има простор и за мала авантура. Подолга пауза може да ве одведе до бреговите на Охридското Езеро, а слободен ден — преку грчката граница, до морето. Или можете да останете поблиску, да ја истражите Битола, да тргнете кон Пелистер или да поминете мирно попладне со кафе.
Тоа нежно чувство на одмор е дел од студиското искуство. Посветените сесии се надополнуваат со добра храна, свеж воздух и време за опуштање. Понекогаш промената на средината е токму она што ѝ треба на една идеја — а патувањето за снимање станува нешто што го носите дома на повеќе начини.
